An independent study was carried out within a scented vs a non-scented Samsung store to show the impact of scent upon shoppers as they moved throughout the store.

Results

The independent study showed shoppers in a scented Samsung store visited on average three times more product categories and underestimated the time they spent in the store by 26%.
